The team behind the games
Our Story
Drystorm Studios was officially founded in 2023, but the story started long before that. Me and my brother grew up building Minecraft and Garry’s Mod servers together over a decade ago — that’s what first pulled us into game development. We got hooked, moved into Unity projects, and eventually became full-time software engineers off the back of that experience.
But in late 2023, after a random eureka moment in the gym, we decided to finally give the studio dream a proper go.
Drystorm is just the two of us right now — indie developers building fun, multiplayer games designed to be played with your friends, all for the price of a coffee. We’re not chasing flashy launches or big teams. The goal is to grow slowly with a tight crew and keep delivering games that are worth your time (and money).

Meet Our Team

Brendan Wood
Lead Developer
I focus on the technical side of drystorm particularly networking. My background's in software engineering, but making fun, fast games with friends is what brought me back to game dev. When I'm not coding, I'm usually golfing or doing MMA.

Nathan Wood
Lead Game Designer
I handle the design side — visuals, feel, and making sure our games are fun to play. Brendan makes it work; I make it look and play right. I'm big on clean mechanics and tight feedback loops. Outside of games, I'm either lifting or on the golf course.
